Why free PDF sites choke on large files
Most free online splitters enforce 50–100 MB upload caps because every megabyte costs them bandwidth and storage. A 500 MB scan or print-ready book hits that wall immediately. Fast workflow: chapters by page range
- Open the PDF splitter.
- Select the large PDF (keep a backup of the original).
- Enter chapter ranges, e.g.
1-12, 13-40, 41-80. - Download each part. If the tab freezes, close other apps and retry one chapter at a time.
