How to use the PDF Text Editor

    Choose the document you want to add text to.

  2. Type text and set position

    Enter your text, the page number, font size, and X/Y position in PDF points (72 points = 1 inch, measured from the bottom-left corner).

  3. Download

    Save the PDF with your new text added on top of the page.

Can I change text that is already in the PDF?

This tool adds new text on top of the page rather than rewriting existing text. To hide old text, cover it first with the Visual Blackout tool, then add the replacement.

How do the X and Y coordinates work?

Positions are in PDF points from the bottom-left corner. A US Letter page is 612 × 792 points; start around X 72, Y 120 and adjust.

Is my PDF uploaded?

No. The file is processed by JavaScript inside your browser tab and never sent to our servers. Closing the tab clears it from memory.

Do I need Adobe Acrobat?

No. Everything runs in your browser with no software to install.

We do not operate a file-upload API for PDF or image processing, so there is no account, queue, or cloud storage step. That makes the tools suitable for contracts, payslips, ID scans, and other sensitive documents you would not email to a random website. You need a modern browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, or Safari) and a stable device — very large files may be slower because processing uses your CPU, not remote servers. Always keep a backup of originals before editing.
