Resize Image to 50KB β€” Free, No Upload

A middle cap when 20KB is too soft

Resize a photo to 50KB or less when 20KB is too soft and 100KB is over the limit. The JPG is built on your device, and the card shows bytes as well as KB.

The download is a JPG

PNG and WebP photos are re-saved as JPEG. Transparent areas become white. A maximum of 20 KB means 20,000 bytes. A minimum, if you set one, means N Γ— 1,024 bytes.

Choose photos

Up to 10 photos, 20 MB each. They are resized one at a time and are not uploaded.

Target size

The maximum is N Γ— 1,000 bytes. Leave pixels blank to let the file size decide the dimensions.

Cap 50,000 bytes

50KB is a middle cap, not an exam name

Some state portals, scholarship uploads, and email forms ask for a photograph under 50KB without printing a pixel size. This preset starts at that cap. It does not claim that IBPS, SSC, or NEET want 50KB. IBPS has listed a photo around 20–50 KB at 200Γ—230 px in recent pre-requisites β€” if your notice says 200Γ—230, type those pixels. If it says 20–50 KB, set a minimum of 20 as well, so the file is not a tiny 8KB image that fails the floor.

50KB is 50,000 bytes for the maximum. A 20KB minimum is 20,480 bytes. Both numbers are shown before you download.

Leave the pixels blank only if the form does

When the notice is silent on pixels, the tool picks a size that fits 50,000 bytes and then uses as much of that budget as a clean JPEG allows. When the notice prints a size in centimetres, switch the unit, enter the DPI from the notice, and check the pixel result on the card. A 200 DPI box is a different photo from a 96 DPI box of the same centimetres.

How to use the Resize Image to 50KB

  1. Add the photo

Choose a JPG, PNG, WebP, or HEIC image.

  2. Keep 50KB, and set a floor if the form has one

50KB means 50,000 bytes. A minimum of 20 KB means at least 20,480 bytes.

  3. Enter pixels when the notice prints them

For example 200Γ—230. Leave them blank when the form only mentions kilobytes.

  4. Download after you check the card

The JPG shows its real size in bytes and its final pixels.

Resize Image to 50KB FAQ

Is 50KB an exam preset by itself?

No. It is a file-size cap. IBPS has listed a photo around 20–50 KB at 200Γ—230 px in recent instructions. Type those pixels and a minimum of 20 if your notice says that, then recheck the PDF.

How is the minimum counted?

A minimum uses Γ—1,024 bytes and the maximum uses Γ—1,000. A 20–50 KB band is 20,480 to 50,000 bytes.

Will a small JPEG be padded?

Only when a minimum is on and the picture is still under that floor after quality is raised. The card says a comment was added. The picture does not change.

Is the image uploaded?

No. The file is processed by JavaScript inside your browser tab and never sent to our servers. Closing the tab clears it from memory.

Is it free?

Yes.

Quick answers

How do I make a photograph under 50KB and still keep it clear?

Set a 50KB maximum, which is 50,000 bytes, and add a pixel size only when the form prints one. Fifty kilobytes is a middle cap: sharper than a 20KB export, still small enough for portals and mailboxes that reject 100KB. If the instructions say 20 to 50KB, also set a minimum so a tiny file is not accepted by the cap and rejected by the floor. The minimum should be at least 20 Γ— 1,024 bytes. Recent IBPS photo rules have used about 200 by 230 pixels inside a 20–50KB band β€” copy the numbers from the pre-requisites PDF for your cycle rather than from a blog. Leave the pixel boxes blank when the form never mentions width or height. EasyPDFHub resizes the photo in the browser, writes the DPI you enter, and shows the final pixels and bytes on the result card.
